Had them for about 6 months now and used them almost every single day. The sound quality is good, they cancel the noise pretty well and the battery life is excellent. I was a bit anxious of how durable they will be but they are really well made and had no issues so far.
So i’ve been trying these out for a couple of months at the gym. Positives:wirelessdoesn’t fall out of earscan go very loudfold up in my bagholds its charge for a long period of timenegatives:can loosen when running which gets irritatingthe touch pad is not very sensitive so it’s easier to change the song with my phonecan’t deal with being a few metres away from my phone so i still have to carry that with meisn’t the most attractivestruggling to find a pair of headphones that fit my small ears and small head.
The only bad thing i find with these headphones is the pressure on my ears, but as that’s expected with every pair of headphones i can’t really complain. Putting one speaker behind my ear seems to help fine, and there’s no harm in taking them off every so often. The sound quality is good as can be, i’m not really an expert. In terms of range the sound tends to crackle up when i go too far away behind walls, but it can go through to the 2nd floor from the 1st with no problem. They’re very sound proof, i basically can’t understand what people are saying if they talk to me. A good feature if you ask me. I bought mine for £45 cause the colour isn’t as popular probably. Tomato red is not as tomatoy as it is in the pictures but who cares anyway. I’d say they’re worth the £45 but the more expensive colours (sky blue and whatnot) are £70 and that’d be out of my price range but since the quality is good it really just depends on your budget.
Edit: 25/06/2019 – don’t buy this version. Just buy their wire ring range. I think they purposefully put these on wholesale to traders in hmv and amazon to get rid of their stock of defectively designed headphones. Very dishonest behaviour but i guess everyone wants their money nowadays. My first one broke and i couldn’t figure out how to get my warranty on it so i bought new ones. They’re really good as long as the plastic part doesn’t break. My favourite is the tap function. Beware that sometimes it doesn’t link up properly. Might be my phones issue though.
I lost my first pair and loved them so much that i repurchased the same ones. Their appearance, battery life, functions, sound etc are all great.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Best bluetooth headphones for price
- Great purchase so far
So happy with thesenot easily brokenbattery life is great, better battery life than my bluetooth speaker, probably double the lengthmy go-to, can’t attend gym without them nowso easy to change songs with the touch-activated controls on the right earphone.
I went for some cheaper headphones that had better reviews – really regretted the decision. These are a good subtle design – all matt (no tacky shiny bits) and very durable. My last pair i had for 4 years before they got a bit too dirty and cleaning them wasn’t an option any more ( had the white pair) however, they still worked finewouldn’t recommend the white if you’re a girl who wears makeup. Not too big on the overhead. Really do love these headphones.
I’ve been using these headphones multiple hours daily for several weeks now, and couldn’t be happier with them. The battery life is more than enough, i only really charge them once every 3 or 4 days, with probably 10-15 hours listening between charges. They’re very comfortable to wear, although i do find that i have to take them off after an hour or so of listening or i start getting earache. This is something i experience with all on-ear headphones though. I happened to have a pair of beats headphones (not mine) to compare these to. The sound quality of the more expensive beats is impressive, i found them to be more clear than the urbanears, and a bit more bassy too. Saying that, the urbanears are are of more than sufficient audio quality, although you are getting what you pay for. The touch controls on the urbanears are very convenient. I often find myself using them to skip and change the volume. Others have written that they often accidentally trigger them, but i have had no such problem.
It has great sound quality and great for noise cancelling. It is comfortable on the ears, if not a little bit tight. The cordless facility lets it down as the battery life is pretty poor. After a full charge, it lasted no more than 3 hours of play time. I have had these headphones for 2. 5 years now and the battery life kept reducing – now it does not work at all. I am grateful for the fact that it also came with a cord, otherwise this product would be useless and a complete, utter waste of money.
Cancel noise to a good degree (still safe when you go for a run, so you can actually hear cars behind you). Easy to change songs by using the touch functions.
Great set of headphones, my niece and sister in law have both bought these and i was so impressed with them that i bought a pair too. Love the fact that they are wireless but also have a wire too.
I bought them as wanted the same earphones as my husband has, fed up wil him not being able to hear me i decided to join in. Used them in a long haul flight and they are fab.
Today is exactly one year since i bought the adv. I have a pixel 2, which dropped the jack, so i needed bt headphones. I’ve a fan of urbanears for years now and after looking around i ended up choosing adv. There was really nothing else matching the feature set at the price point. I want to address the comments about build quality. Urbanears in my experience have been like that since i have discovered them. The products look good, work great, but durability has always been a weak point. I have had a number of their product fail within one year, which sucks considering the price. However, i have had their support replace them every time with a brand new pair due to 1 year warranty. Back to the adv, i have had zero issues so far and i use them nearly every day.
I absolutely love these headphones. Comfortable, easily adjusted to your head, soft cushions for your ears, washable headband, really great sound, and cancels out a tremendous amount of noise. Excellent for noisy travelling (train, plane, etc). Also folds easily and doesn’t feel too fragile. Comes with nicely matching usb charging chord and a aux chord in case battery runs out or you just feel like going old-school chord. Uncomfortable to sleep with so uh, yeah, take ’em off before naptime, i guess. Also quite heavy to exercise in. But great for anything in-between.
Not the best quality headphones i have ever owned. They’re not even the best available for their cheap price. For a product that was once advertised as £75, these feel really cheap and lightweight. The sound quality is very bassy and not clear. If you have no other choice and have to buy these, then go ahead, but if you want to shop around and get a far better product for less cost then shop elsewhere.
Excellent productamazing soundamazing qualityeasy to usedurablesuperbe quality & pricei vividly recommend it.
They are really good headphones. Good cheap wireless headphones, good sound quality and they don’t bleed too much. The only issue is my ears get really hot with the headphones after an hour or so of use and they hurt quite a bit. So i can’t wear them long periods of time. Which is why i’m only giving 3 stars.
So far so good, i’ve had them for a day and they’re perfect.
These are great headphones, for this price, the sound quality is not much worse than some of my headphones that cost £200 (bang & olufsen for example). Really easy and compact to carry around and wear in the gym. The battery life is also great, around 15-20 hrs?.
These headphones are reasonably comfortable and the sound is okay, but not great. The bluetooth keeps dropping connection though. My real problem with them is that the super sensitive touch controls on the earpiece seem to have a life of their own if i’m in the gym so that the track keeps changing or the volume suddenly goes down. If i do a handstand they go silent, either they can’t take being upside down or the side of my arm above my head is pressing the silent mode on the earpiece. So, okay headphones and nice looking but not for gym or running.
I really like the swipe controls and the battery life is really good. I just with there was a way to tell how much charge is left in the battery before it starts beeping that the battery is low. Also, the headphones connect really quickly to my phone.
