In my review of these headphones it wont say that i am a certified buyer. I dont live in the uk and i found them as cheap as amazon. Anyway to start with if you have a smallish head dont buy them they are large headphones and they will slip off a smallish head. For the asking price the headphones are of a decent build quality, they are easy to put on the base and charge and you get a long enough power cord for most situations. The volume control on the pair i bought even when turned down to minimum the headphones are quite loud. The base can be a little overwhelming at times and the top end distorts if too loud. They are worth having because the overhaul sound quality is not bad just a bit coarse and it seems to get worse the further you are from the base unit but after all they are only 55 pounds. Mine are attached to a denon f109 internet radio/streamer streaming wave files from my nas drive. Please remember that any review by either amateur or professional reviewer is only his or hers own opinion. What one likes someonelse might not.
Good headphones very happy with them.
Great for listening to the tv late at night.
Great bit of kit good value for money. I have had them for 1 week and i can have the television up asloud as i want when the wife is in bed.
Great sound, docking system is really good. They turn on automatically once undocked.
Great bit of kit, fast service, very pleased.
I spotted these in an email i get from the sony shop every week as a refurb item, and decided to get them @ £55. I am situated in a room with all my electronic kit around me, including a wired pair of good h/phones. It was the cordless feature of these sony’s that attracted me as i use a wheelchair in my room and am getting very sick and tired of the cable on my other ‘phones catching on the foot rests and front brakes on the chair. I can’t count the number of times my poor older ‘phones have been on the floor. These cordless headphones have solved that one delightfully. :)however, there are certain songs that are unplayable at the moment. I use itunes to listen to my record collection and anything delivering lots of hi-hat (drumming/percussion) activity within a track are most unacceptably reproduced with lots of sound knockouts. Everything else has a rich, deep sound and picks even more out of many songs i thought i knew. I was having a chat last night (16/08/13)with someone on sony’s fb page about that. The cable supplied with the headphones is very short.
Great reception comfortable and clear sound. Used in front room for tv whilst house sleeps.
Works like a charm, but as many have said before there is a slight static in the background. My workaround was to boost the volume on the pc whilst lowering the volume on the headphones.
