The sound quality and clarity is fantastic. The bass actually makes the headphones tremble and can be set at a level that suits. I haven’t experienced any distortion. Unlike with my aviator skullcandy headphones, this pair don’t have a volume adjustment button on the cable which was disappointing. There is a button to pause tracks but that’s the limit of its capability. That being said these are an amazing buy for the price and i wouldn’t go back to my aviators.
Great productif you really love bass. (no seriously, i mean really love bass,) then these are the headphones for younot only do they deliver amazing bass, they also have great mids and highs too. If you were like me and looking for an upgrade for some apple earpods for example, and want something that will blow your mind for a good price, then these are the headphones for you. :d(they could do with being a bit louder, however they are plenty loud enough for the average user so don’t let thins put you off.
Such good headphoneshave been wanting a set of very bassy headphones for a long time and i finally found a set that actually give you the full bass experiencealthough they seem cheap to look at but the sound quality is actually amazingwould recommend to those who love to feel their bass xd. Great sound, warms your ears for those cold commutes. Geared for bass heavy music and has a good quality wire.
I have been looking for a pair of decent head phones for a little while – i am no stranger to skull candy’s products – i have a pair that are still working and kept in my caravan. I needed a pair to really enjoy my music – stop looking around these are the onesenhancing the bass on these head phones makes your skull rattle – your head bang and your hair flap about – they are absolutely amazing – i may at some point order another pair – and keep them in the caravan too. If you enjoy your music as much as i do – then these are the ones – reggae, hip hop, chart music, heavy metal – it covers them all – my age i hear you ask?. A 46 year old lady – these headphones were made to enjoy music as it should be heard.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Great for bass lovers
- Great BASS, you feel every beat.
- Fun over-ears, one main drawback
Amazing sound made even better by the rumble feature. Makes listening to garage and other bassy music a real joy. Bought for my partner and liked it so much i bought one.
I’ve got grados for more “serious” hi-fi listening but these are brilliant for work and commuting etc and they have such good separation and imaging along with a smooth detailed sound that they are currently my go to headphones for most things. Forget the gimmick of the head shaking bass driver. It is inconsistent and annoying after a while. The sound is so good with it off i don’t bother engaging it any more.
In the description they stated that i wouldnt get a pouch, when the item got delivered. I noticed a pouch in side the bag. I was surprised to aquire this pouch as they said i wouldnt. The bass response and frequency is extremely good. My overall review of skullcandy crushers is a overwhelming 5 stars. Thanks for reading my review.
I listen to techno and house so here is my review. 1) bass is amazing which can be controlled from the button on the headphone2) one thing i dont really like is that the sound apart from the bass is not very crisp. But hey, i use them everywhere and feel as if i am inside a club listening live dj playing techno. It cost me total €50 to ireland so not bad for the price.
Love these headphone, the active amp inside is basically a rumble pack over your ears that requires a battery. As the bass plays the rumble pack vibrates and boom. What you had for dinner new rests in your underwear. Thankfully, this only happened to the wife once as they were for her. She pre warned me as i’d just had a huge bowl of chilli. On the plus side, the head phones didn’t once touch the mess left behind and if you spin them around to back of your head and one to cover your face you have a rather terrible tom hardy version of baneenough to cover any smells that may have just hit the first time you used them. Buy them, have your accident and be merry.
The vibration motor really enhances the feeling of bass. You can feel the bass even on a lower setting (30% strength) battery lasts for a very long time. And sound quality is good for the price. They are comfortable even after long use, sometimes i sleep while using them. The vibration bass really makes it stand out when i tried a bunch of other headphones in the store. Preferred it over some of the more expensive headphones.
Had to return it as i thought it had bluetooth for the detachable cable and battery in the headphone. But cable is detachable for portability and battery for the superb bass it delivers. Each beat vibrates beautifully.
Misleading photography of product – i thought these were wireless. One lead is faulty meaning sound only coming through one ear piece.
Although my 1st order was lost in the post, i got another pair locally, very good and full range of sound, turned the bass to low setting as it was very deep and vibrated very hard even for the smallest sound at times. Used the headphones as earmuffs on the airplane (11 hrs 30 mins from brazil) and my ears did not sweat too much.
Can’t recommend these headphones enough. Plan to buy a third pair in 2018. (the ear muffs degrade but it might be because i wear them like 6+ hours a day). Love the vibrate function, quality is nice enough, cheap price, look cool to boot.
I use these on an almost daily basis and i love it. They are designed with bass in mind and that’s what i love with music. The on-board converter boosts the sound and increases the bass to every song. You can feel the bass which i am very fond of. If you want to turn off/down the bass enhancer, you can. There is a small slider on the back of the device which you can slide up or down depending on how you wish the song to sound. It takes 1 aa battery which tends to last me a couple of weeks of regular use. This is also to help assist with the noise cancelling. My only 2 improvements for this device is the noise cancelling. It does work, however, there are still occasions where environment noise does creep in.
The bass is obnoxious and fantastic, literally shaking your head. With it off, the passive sound is fairly balanced, seems to be very little leakage even with some bass-boosting on. The inline cable controls are useful, though the microphone is more likely to pick up the rustle of your clothes than your voice. A downside is that the rubber padding, if you can call it that, on the strap is particularly uncomfortable. If you have hair, as many people do, it will pull it with every movement, making these headphones a poor choice if you plan to walk or lie down in them. Absolutely fine for sitting, though, and i’m assuming fine if you’re bald.
