I am doing more running at the moment, just as the weather is getting hotter too. . Yeah, i knowi usually wear over the ear headphones, but in this heat of the summer or when i am traveling and running or in the gym i like to be able to move more easily, have less sweaty ears (i know that sounds gross, but we are talking headphones and fitness here) and also have all the features i need for when i am working out. That’s where the backbeat fit 305’s come in. I already own and use the backbeat fit first versions in green and orange, they are lovely and have served me well. These new versions the 305’s are amazing, a real refinement. I love the braided cable with the reflective material in it for night running, a really nice safety edition there. The battery life of 6 hours is nice and long and in my few weeks of using them i was able to get 5 and a half hours from a full charge and a 90 min charge to get them refreshed to 100%. The ability to take a call while running was a nice feature that i have used a few times already without fault. However, the bulky button section was slightly annoying when at pace on the treadmill or on the road as it banged against my neck a lot. I was able to forget about it after a while, but it was slightly annoying compared to my previous versions which had the buttons in the earpieces.
I bought a pair as a present for my wife when she took up running. I spent ages looking through reviews of wireless headphones and there always seemed to be problems with them. These actually had consistently good reviews, and she’s been very happy with them. When my own pair of wired headphones died i bought a pair of these for myself and have also been really impressed. My only issue with them is the little plastic broke for me, i think i lay down at the wrong angle and it snapped immediately. She’s has hers much longer and not had any problems.

I’d another version of these. Best feature is the clip on the wire you can attach to your collar, shirt and so on. The controller ( attached to the right ear ) isn’t where i’d like it, as it’s a small rectangular box with volume up at the top, down at the bottom and just above the down is the small answer button ( square ), mute button. Just faces the wrong way for me. I’d like it at the back so when i put my hand up it’s at my thumb, but if faces forward usually so i’m pulling it around. Still not a bad headphone set. Been using this a while now. I’m using this in work, the workshop. It’s handy being able to put the headsets around your neck, out of your ears. It mutes your phone, so, unless they’re in your ears notification for messages are missed. A phone call can still be heard from the earphones simply because they’re near enough to hear and the tone prolonged enough. My other backbeat ones didn’t do this.
Arrived quickly and precharged so was able to pair and use straight away. Sturdy with an expensive feel and extremely comfortable to wear. I struggle to find comfortable earphones as i have very small ear cannals but these are great and come with different sizes to suit. The sound is lovely and rich. These are definitely worth the money.
Very happy with the fit and sound quality but have to agree with previous reviews in that the clip broke literally the first time i went to use it.
Good sound and fit for purpose, just takes a little getting use to with the buds.
