Philips TX1BK/00 Noise-Isolating In-Ear Headphones, good

I cannot understand why these earphones have not had better reviews. I have used these almost every day for around two years, listening mainly to my audio books. They are are very comfortable and don’t get tangled. I have actually purchased another pair (from a different supplier on offer) just in case they ever do breakdown.

For the price these are good earphones and even though they do not have active noise cancelling they block out surrounding noises very well.

Yeah they’re ok but noise cancelling, they are not great at but they’re ear phones.

Very good sound for the price.

These are pretty good but they sometimes fall out of the ear.

Could do with having a volume control.

These are fabulous for the price. Deep bass, warm, clear mids, and smooth but detailed treble. They work for all genres, from orchestral to electronic. At the inner fidelity website, you can find measurements that confirm why they sound so good–low distortion and excellent low bass weight and extension. They’re good enough that they will remain sounding good even if you pair them with e a very high-end portable source. During the past year or year and a half, i’ve bought many low and medium-priced iems (and several expensive ones as well), and these are among the most satisfying. (if i had to nitpick, the shortcoming here is a slight lack of high-treble extension, resulting in a less airy sound, and the highs are less refined than on some.

Great fit but not such a great sound. Disappointing for the price.

Built quality isn’t even with careful use. I owned a previous version of these that had a metal finish, and a slightly tighter sound that were discontinued for some reason.

They came after 3 days that was good.

Great sound and good fit, but way too quiet. Please make these with 50 mw input power (16 ohm impedance), i can’t use them outdoors because almost any background noise is too loud.

After 5 month had to buy another one as 1 “ear” doesn’t work anymore. I take care of my headphones more than well.
