So pleased with this product and you came earlier than expected.
If you are looking for a cheap set of headphones, these aren’t for you. These are expensive, high quality headphones that just happen to not cost a lot. I bought these for my fiancee who goes through skull candy headphones like, well, candy. Spending hours a day on a bus and trekking around university can be hard wearing on flimsy cables and earpieces. Teufel have fixed this problem both with thick, sturdy cables, and making said cables detachable. This brings me to my one and only qualm with these which is that the 3. 5mm jack that plugs into your mp3 player is massive. About 10mm high and across, with a little 3. 5mm plug sticking out of it, designed for a 6. This just looks silly as the plug is about 1/4 the size of the ipod it’s plugged intothat aside, you really can’t go wrong. The quality is just jaw dropping and you can’t hear anything of anyone talking to you while listening to something. That’s about it over the other reviews, which all speak accurately. I’m tempted to get another pair for myself just for the odd occasion i do listen to music, perhaps i’ll connect it to the tv when we move out.
Good value for the price, but i don;t think they cancel noise.

“Superb choice for their price
, The Miele of Headphones
, Great kit
Comfortable with excellent sound quality, 4 months of heavy use and no damage, very good build quality.
It came really fast and is really good quality headset. Its performance is like a headset costing more.
I got a pair of these for my youngest son (age 15), who usually goes through headphones like a hot knife through butter. My initial thoughts on them are:pros:- solid build quality (he’s yet to break them);- choice of two cables to connect to your output socket – straight and curly – which lock in place;- sound quality is very, very good – beyond what i expected for the price tag;- folding design means they can be safely tucked away in the pouch provided when not in use;- external sound exclusion very good, the outside world goes away. Cons:- i keep ‘borrowing’ them because they’re better than my more expensive ones. As a previous reviewer already mentioned, they’re the sort of headphones for which you’d expect to pay far more – quality headphones on a budget price. Now i just need to get another pair for myself and i’ll be happy. You should buy a pair of these.
I’ve had it for a year and 3 months before it finally just broke (the right ear stopped working). Mic broke immediately on first day and has never worked for me, but that wasn’t a hassle for me personally. The sound quality was perfectly fine and at a nice quality when they worked, so it was definitely worth the price for me. There’s a usb connection that’s optional for the lights, which i never used either. The wires were nice and never frayed or tangled, and the headset itself was comfortable. The little controller that controls the audio and mic on the headset was quite annoying though as it has a wheel to control the audio that could accidentally be turned easily.
Brilliant sound, cool lights.
Sound is excellent, build quality and styling is beautiful. Put these on your head and you know you are listening to your music through a very high quality piece of kit. I use these with my teufel ‘concept b 200 usb’: compact hifi multimedia system for pc (which i bought on amazon a few months back) for those times when it may not be appropriate to blast the volume out from the speakers too loudly.
I’m not one to usually write reviews; but i felt that these headphones deserved one. So far i have yet to find anything wrong with them. The build quality is top notch, sound quality is impeccable and they are extremely comfortable – i can wear them for hours on end with no discomfort at all. With the headphones you get two leads and an attachment which allows you to plug them into an amp. You also get a bag to keep them in, which is okay; but i still would have given it five stars without the inclusion of them. Overall, extremely good for the price and i would highly recommend them for someone who is after a high quality pair of headphones without having to pay ridiculous sums of money.
I’ve had these headphones for about a month now. I wanted a pair that would be: a) comfortable, b) semi closed back so not to annoy my fellow commuters, c) have good sound. These phones have all these attributes. However, not everything is rosy – but i’ll come onto that in a minute. They are very well made and comfortable with an adjustable padded headband and earcups that go over the ears. They can be worn for hours with no discomfort. Although they allow a little sound in, they do not appear to leak sound out so very good for commuting. They can be folded up to a reasonable size (a bag is supplied) and, most importantly, they have fantastic sound quality (they work great with my iphone). My only gripes are: the two leads supplied are very long – great for in the home – not so good on the train. Teufel should take note and include a 1mtr lead in the pack. And lastly, well the’re not the ‘coolest’ looking headphones – but i can live with that. All in all, an excellent product.
I use it all the time, lasts a day in work without needing a recharge, can change track, adjust volume and take calls without taking my phone out of my pocket. Could do with a bit more bass but that would be nit picking, i was so impressed that my family bought four more too.
Bought these last week after i had a pair of shure headphones which broke about 3 months after buying them. After those broke i vowed to get headphones which are foldable and have a detachable cable as that was the reason my previous headphones didn’t last long. The teufel headphones have both these features which is great. After some research these seemed like a good buy especially for the price. Listening to music with them, they are definitely worth the money and would recommend them. The only thing i’d say is that the carry case could be a hard case to minimise the chance of them breaking when taking them places.
I’ve had these headphones for about a month now, and waited that long to write this review. I must admit, i am seriously impressedi bought these after buying and using a very cheap pair for 2 weeks, and getting frustrated at the discomfort the other headphones caused. As a student, whilst studying i have worn these for 14 hours a day, in 4-6 hour bursts, and never have felt i needed to take them off due to discomfort. My ears have gotten a bit warm once or twice, but that’s about it, and i often forget i’m wearing them. The ergonomic folding design takes quite a large pair of headphones and reduces them down to a size which fits quite well into my rucksack. The sound quality is great, i’ve tried them on everything from highs to heavy bass and received good clarity and body from either end, and as someone who isn’t overly fussy about speaker quality i must say they are fantastic. They don’t noise cancel (you’re gonna have to spend a bit more for that), but do dampen external noise pretty well, ad with low level music can pretty much isolate you from your environment. They also do not leak music (to the best of my knowledge), which is handy if you dislike other people on the bus being forced to listen to your music. The carry pouch keep the pair clean when travelling, and is a handy extra.
(i apologize for my english in advance as i am from germany and not a native speaker. Just currently living in the uk. )i have to say that the sound quality of these headphones is very, very good. Especially the bass is incredible. I can’t imagine that other headphones for this price can feature similar bass quality. I use it for listening to music on my pc and my mobile phone (samsung galaxy s ii) and for pc gaming. It did not disappoint on neither device. Reccomendation for everybody because of the amazing quality and the fact that it is a real bargain. (when concerning the sound quality of it).
In addition to in-ear ones for more active pursuits, i bought a pair of these for use at work and casual home listening. I chose them on a combination teufel’s reputation for speakers and the fact that i wanted a pair of folding headphones of reasonable quality. These have exceeded expectation, providing excellent sound quality in all ranges and superb comfort. Audio sources were high quality mp3s via ipod and cd via laptop, with a variety of different musical genres. All frequencies had a suitable presence with excellent clarity. No complaints on the comfort front, with the large, soft earpieces. The headband has a range suitable for all but those with the most gigantic cranium. The earpieces fold up inside the headband making them fit a lot better in a bag so are excellent for people on the move. The earpieces also rotate so that they face forward which i haven’t found a use for – maybe it’s a dj thing?.Two detachable cables are supplied, one straight and one curled, both with mini-jacks at either end.
I’m not the typical review writer and i always think i’ll not do the item justice. So here it goes – after breaking my sennheiser 555’s, i started my search for a new pair with the following criteria sound quality, build and cheaper (don’t need a mortgage thank you. And i also wanted a ‘closed’ set – i do a lot of audio recording and the worst thing is the amount of ‘bleed’ into the microphones. They are now my reference phones to test mixes etc. It took a while to get used to the ‘sound’ after my sennheiser’s, which was around 30 hours to break them in and i was blown away from that moment. Bass that sound this clear on headphone’s come at a price – dr. Dre beats anyone?furthermore, the accessories that come with it is also what you would expect from higher priced phones – 2 different cables, leather carrying case and the box looks nice tooby the way it also comes with a 60 day returns policy if you are not happy with it – you can’t go wrong with a promise like that plus delivery was fast.
