House of Marley Liberate XLBT – Bluetooth Wireless Headphones, Nice bass but lack of highs and I had to

Nice bass but lack of highs and i had to open them an put the battery in place becouse it was moving inside.

Love them comfortable and light great sound one off the best i have had.

First impressions of the liberate xlbt are rather good. This bluetooth headset comes in a stout box with earthen colouring reflecting the planet-friendly ethos of the brand. Inside the packaging you get the over-ear headset, a fabric draw-string bag, a tangle-free cord for optional wired connection, and a usb charging cable. The headphones themselves are distinctively styled with a metal headband, real wood backs to the ear cups (a nice touch), and brown padded plastic for the lining and ear cup padding. The ear cups fold in for storage, and it is reasonably compact for an over-ear set. I doubt you will have any problem with setup considering that it is all fairly standard, but will note that the little manual is confusing. It says that the usb charging port is on the right ear cup, when in fact it is on the left, though the charging led is on the right and not by the port as stated. I wonder if house of marley has slightly revised the product but not updated the manual. There is also a section on “responsible listening” which states how many decibels are safe for me to hear. Completely useless, since there is no way for most of us to measure how many decibels we are hearing.

“Exceptional noise cancellation and a nice sound
, Instant hit!
, Good quality

These headphones are absolutely beautiful and i receive compliments for them regularly, which to be honest is most of the reason i bought them, not being much of a music buff myself. The sound quality is very good, much better than the phillips set i had before. The only issue is comfort for me, as the cups are not quite fully over ear and so it can put a lot of pressure on part of the ear after a lot of use, i find i can’t wear them much more than an hour without fairly substantial ear ache which my previous headphones didn’t give me which is a shame as every other point is great. Still a great product, especially if you don’t have sensitive ears like me.

Good headphones, i’ve had previous marley headphones these are just as good.

Been wanting some more headphones for awhile and couldn’t be bothered with some cheap ones, so did some research and came across these. I decided the price was nice and they sounded good for me. I use them for music and audiobooks during my dead time, like being on busses or waiting for stuff and i have to commend the noise cancellation more than anything, i can hear every word of my audiobooks very clearly no matter where i am. If i had to give a negative, if you want to fold them up you have to reset the length you’ve got each headphone adjusted to, which is a bit of a fuss if you have to keep adjusting the length each time you use them, so i just don’t bother folding them. I also still haven’t managed to get them to work with my computer, don’t know if that’s an issue with the headphones or my computer though. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Superb sound and feel good on the ear.

Very nice looking headphones. The choice between cable and bluetooth is the best feature.

The quality of the headphone is very impressive. We were lucky and got them half price. There is only one thing, if the volume is a bit high people around can hear it. I find that a little bit annoying. But i am really really happy with it.

Very loud, great sound quality, but the bass feels like it’s holding back, the build quality is really nice, and fits in well with my other house of marley gear. The battery lasts a long time, one charge, eight hours later and the battery has 3 out of 4 bars. The blue tooth range was excellent, still working 3 rooms away. It was charged fully in about an hour.

Overall good product, great sound, great battery life and so far nothing has broken. But it isn’t for someone who wants to throw it around.

Love everything about these headphone & will recommend.

Sound as with all marley headphones i have tried, is well above average. Well worth the money , if you care about quality/sound.

This was a gift for my husband after his first set broke. He was thrilled with them and uses them all the time.

I wouldn’t purchase again though. Sound quality, for the price isn’t that great.

Excellent pair of headphones especially for the price i paid. I recommend these to anybody who likes strong clear bass.

Its was good overall just one problem with it was because it was a used item.

From the moment i saw the packaging for the house of marley (hom) liberate xlbt’s i knew i had made an amazing choice in these headphones. The packaging is simple and it’s always a good thing to know that hom use recycled materials in there packaging aswell as there products. Inside the box one finds a bag made from hom’s rewind fabric and that contains a micro usb cable aswell as a really high quality braided auxillary cable for wired listening. The headphones are wrapped in hom branded tissue paper which is a nice touchthe headphones themselves are amazing. When i first put them on i noticed that there was plenty of padding which makes for comfortable listening. The ear cups are also easy to adjust depending on the size of ones head. However longer periods of listening can lead to slight annoyance as the headphones feel very tight and squeeze my ears. Audiothis is probably the most important factor when buying headphones and the liberate xlbt’s don’t disappoint. When i first listened to them i fell in love with its punchy sound. I will say that it does focus on the low end but not so much that it becomes annoying for my music taste ( pop and rock).

I only took delivery of this super product four hours ago. But my mind is already made up. Sound quality is exceptional – i’m into ‘big’ sounding music like the cadillac three, brothers osborne and black stone cherry, and these mighty headphones really do the job. The sound is spacious, crystal clear and hard hitting, even when it’s streamed from my iphone. Bass response is nothing short of remarkable.

One of the ear cups don’t output as good quality sound as the other.

I’m quite audiophile my self, now i’m wondering why these aren’t so popular like beat’s or bosse. There is one ‘but’ – you have to get used to them ( basically to the grip that they do when equipped).

Very comfortable, i like the long lasting charge.

Clear, sharp and great bass on this comfortable headphone.

I love marley headphones – so durable. But this model sadly broke on me a year into having it. Because of the cost i had also purchased, through amazon breakdown cover on this device. First the bluetooth function went, and then the sound went in one ear. I tried contacting amazon and i got no support. The headphones were barely over a year old, plus i had paid extra money to ensure a long life on this product and support but sadly this was not received. Marley headphones are very good, and the price amazon offered it at was very good – but combined with incredibly poor service, plus feeling a little robbed because i paid for cover and received nothing meaning that 1 year after buying both cover and the product i am left with nothing is very very poor. I would like a response from amazon on this.

Really hoped these would be amazing as i like the brand but unfortunately they really are not worth money. Sound quality isnt good at all and there are other brands on amazon for the same price which are miles better.

I bought these headphone no more than a month ago – really pleased at the beginning: sound quality excellent and perfect noise cancellation. But, after not even a month the screws holding the actual headphones are moving, and every time i need to go out i need to screw them back in otherwise everything falls apart. – definitely not worth the price paid.

It was not long ago since i bought those beautiful looking headphones and i want to let you guys know that they broke. The sound is gone can’t hear anything beside a bzzzz noise inside the headphones. I honestly didn’t do anything wrong with them, didn’t drop them, didn’t ware them outside because i was using them for my gaming sessions only. I am also not able to return them back to amazon for some reason so all i got left to do is to find someone that can fix headphones.

Anyway, let’s get to the product itself. Appearance and comfortthe house of marley liberate xlbt are a stunning looking pair of headphones that stand out from the crowd. I bought the saddle version, which sports brown leather ear pads and headband. The brown leather is beautifully complemented with a light grey sustainable fabric, and real wood. When it comes to comfort, i can say that most over-ear headphones will probably be more comfortable. Let me explain: the liberate xlbt feel more like halfway between on-ear and over-ear. They don’t go all the way around the ear (unless you have ridiculously tiny ears), but they don’t sit on your ear either.

These are very good headphones with great sound quality, long battery life, and good bluetooth range. However, as other reviews have said, the little screws that hold the joints together are too weak to support the weight of the headphones and overtime they will become loose or just fall out entirely (like mine have). Once they fall out completely, it is very difficult to put the headphones back together since it is basically in two or three hanging pieces.

Great set of headphones that work well wireless. (through bluetooth) or wired with a supplied cable. The sound they produce is good. Quite a strong base, but the other ranges all come through clearly without distortion. Overall it provides a very pleasing sound. The headphones were very simple to pair with my phone. Once paired, buttons on the headphones allow me to play, stop skip music etc. The headphones are comfortable to wear, with good sized cups that fit well over my ear and have enough padding to not dig in or cause any significant discomfort while wearing for extended periods. Charging the headphones is quick enough, and seeing the level of charge left is easy with the clear led lights indicating battery level. Even if they run out of battery though there’s the supplied cable to allow them to plug in as with typical headphones.

. Not so sure about the build. ☀ house of marley☀ liberate xlbt☀ bluetooth® over-ear, foldable headphonescolour : mid-brown with grey fabric & sapele finish with matte finish, stainless steel effect‘made in china’initially, i was happy to come in at a top rating with this headset in terms of comfort, sound & functionality but have to note early on that i came very close to losing one of the tiny hexagonal-headed screws on the hinges that allow the headset to fold inwards, after very little use (last images refer). Finding that the only implement i had to replace it was an ad hoc gadget retained from a christmas cracker i would recommend checking and perhaps tightening these eight screws up at the start. Fortunately, the silver-coloured screw fell on a dark blue surface so it was easy to spot because i doubt this size is easy to replace or would be hanging around in a ‘man tin’comparing this to the need to return to an opticians to have the screw replaced on the leg of a rather expensive set of sunglasses after only half a day’s wear, this is an area i would have expected to be well covered off given the rrp. The outfit arrived well padded in a sturdy outer carton for safe transit. Inside is a quality container measuring around 21. 75 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm, which opens at the bottom and the contents pull out like a drawer via a black fabric tab; the box flap with a magnetic-type close. Inside the polystyrene-type lined compartment is the quality bluetooth over-ear headset wrapped up in tissue paper (a nice extra touch), along with a micro-usb charging cable, a cable & microphone (for when bluetooth is not available), a multi-lingual manual & a warranty booklet. Also included is a matching quality grey-coloured fabric drawstring storage bag, which measures around 22. 5 cm x 17 cm simply embellished with a ‘marley rewind™’ fabric label and threads in the three colours associated with ‘bob marley’ products – green/yellow & red.

If you want good sounding wired or wireless cans that are over ear, these are for you. Like their wired earbud relatives, they are finished in metal and wood, and look good, as well as sounding good too. If anything, i l liked the bt sound as much as wired. There are a bank of switches on the right can, for power, bt, volume and track change. The pairing was effortless, in fact on turning on, they attempt to pair with the last device. Battery life between charges is excellent and there remains the sturdy wire connection if all else fails. The fit was good on my head and the cups surrounded my ears. Also, i often have trouble with my folically challenged pate as this sort of headset tends to slip, but there was no trouble with these, the fit was comfortable and solid. In summary, a well designed headphone finished to a high quality, sounding and looking good.

Absolutely stunning set of headphones from house of marley. They look classy and expensive in their silver and saddle brown finish, and come complete with a micro usb charging lead, a direct to source plug in lead, a nice storage bag, and instructions. The box is quality too, opening at the bottom, and revealing an inner tray with a material tab to pull the contents out. Instructions are easy enough to follow, but i was slightly confused by the charging instructions. These state there is an led charging light close to the usb charging port, and that this illuminates during charging, and goes out when charging is complete. There are in fact 4 white led charging lights, and they are situated on the other earpiece (not on the side with the charge port). These illuminate one by one during charging, but do not seem to go out when charging is complete. Connecting via bluetooth is easy. You simply turn on the headphones, prepare the device you want to pair to, and then press the bluetooth connect button on the headphones. I have managed to connect to my tv, pc, laptop, tablet and phone.

My husband is really pleased with these headphones. He has an hour commute every day and so uses the time to watch films and listen to music. The sound quality is very good, really clear with plenty of bass. In the summer months he does sometimes struggle to hear what he is listening too as train windows are open and can get quite noisy as the train picks up speed. So far he has had not trouble hearing with these headphones on. He really likes their distinctive look. The wood and steel look really good together but not garish. He also likes the grey canvas bag that they come to store them in when not using them. They look very expensive and high quality. He had no trouble charging them or connecting them to his tablet through bluetooth.
