Nice bass but lack of highs and i had to open them an put the battery in place becouse it was moving inside.
Love them comfortable and light great sound one off the best i have had.
First impressions of the liberate xlbt are rather good. This bluetooth headset comes in a stout box with earthen colouring reflecting the planet-friendly ethos of the brand. Inside the packaging you get the over-ear headset, a fabric draw-string bag, a tangle-free cord for optional wired connection, and a usb charging cable. The headphones themselves are distinctively styled with a metal headband, real wood backs to the ear cups (a nice touch), and brown padded plastic for the lining and ear cup padding. The ear cups fold in for storage, and it is reasonably compact for an over-ear set. I doubt you will have any problem with setup considering that it is all fairly standard, but will note that the little manual is confusing. It says that the usb charging port is on the right ear cup, when in fact it is on the left, though the charging led is on the right and not by the port as stated. I wonder if house of marley has slightly revised the product but not updated the manual. There is also a section on “responsible listening” which states how many decibels are safe for me to hear. Completely useless, since there is no way for most of us to measure how many decibels we are hearing.

“Exceptional noise cancellation and a nice sound
, Instant hit!
, Good quality
These headphones are absolutely beautiful and i receive compliments for them regularly, which to be honest is most of the reason i bought them, not being much of a music buff myself. The sound quality is very good, much better than the phillips set i had before. The only issue is comfort for me, as the cups are not quite fully over ear and so it can put a lot of pressure on part of the ear after a lot of use, i find i can’t wear them much more than an hour without fairly substantial ear ache which my previous headphones didn’t give me which is a shame as every other point is great. Still a great product, especially if you don’t have sensitive ears like me.
Good headphones, i’ve had previous marley headphones these are just as good.
Been wanting some more headphones for awhile and couldn’t be bothered with some cheap ones, so did some research and came across these. I decided the price was nice and they sounded good for me. I use them for music and audiobooks during my dead time, like being on busses or waiting for stuff and i have to commend the noise cancellation more than anything, i can hear every word of my audiobooks very clearly no matter where i am. If i had to give a negative, if you want to fold them up you have to reset the length you’ve got each headphone adjusted to, which is a bit of a fuss if you have to keep adjusting the length each time you use them, so i just don’t bother folding them. I also still haven’t managed to get them to work with my computer, don’t know if that’s an issue with the headphones or my computer though. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
Superb sound and feel good on the ear.
Very nice looking headphones. The choice between cable and bluetooth is the best feature.
The quality of the headphone is very impressive. We were lucky and got them half price. There is only one thing, if the volume is a bit high people around can hear it. I find that a little bit annoying. But i am really really happy with it.
Very loud, great sound quality, but the bass feels like it’s holding back, the build quality is really nice, and fits in well with my other house of marley gear. The battery lasts a long time, one charge, eight hours later and the battery has 3 out of 4 bars. The blue tooth range was excellent, still working 3 rooms away. It was charged fully in about an hour.
Overall good product, great sound, great battery life and so far nothing has broken. But it isn’t for someone who wants to throw it around.
Love everything about these headphone & will recommend.
Sound as with all marley headphones i have tried, is well above average. Well worth the money , if you care about quality/sound.
This was a gift for my husband after his first set broke. He was thrilled with them and uses them all the time.
I wouldn’t purchase again though. Sound quality, for the price isn’t that great.
Excellent pair of headphones especially for the price i paid. I recommend these to anybody who likes strong clear bass.
Its was good overall just one problem with it was because it was a used item.
From the moment i saw the packaging for the house of marley (hom) liberate xlbt’s i knew i had made an amazing choice in these headphones. The packaging is simple and it’s always a good thing to know that hom use recycled materials in there packaging aswell as there products. Inside the box one finds a bag made from hom’s rewind fabric and that contains a micro usb cable aswell as a really high quality braided auxillary cable for wired listening. The headphones are wrapped in hom branded tissue paper which is a nice touchthe headphones themselves are amazing. When i first put them on i noticed that there was plenty of padding which makes for comfortable listening. The ear cups are also easy to adjust depending on the size of ones head. However longer periods of listening can lead to slight annoyance as the headphones feel very tight and squeeze my ears. Audiothis is probably the most important factor when buying headphones and the liberate xlbt’s don’t disappoint. When i first listened to them i fell in love with its punchy sound. I will say that it does focus on the low end but not so much that it becomes annoying for my music taste ( pop and rock).
I only took delivery of this super product four hours ago. But my mind is already made up. Sound quality is exceptional – i’m into ‘big’ sounding music like the cadillac three, brothers osborne and black stone cherry, and these mighty headphones really do the job. The sound is spacious, crystal clear and hard hitting, even when it’s streamed from my iphone. Bass response is nothing short of remarkable.
One of the ear cups don’t output as good quality sound as the other.
I’m quite audiophile my self, now i’m wondering why these aren’t so popular like beat’s or bosse. There is one ‘but’ – you have to get used to them ( basically to the grip that they do when equipped).
Very comfortable, i like the long lasting charge.
Clear, sharp and great bass on this comfortable headphone.
