Sound was amazing but had to send back for replacement. Did this 3 times then gave up.
If you get the seal right, these will give you rich full base. Mids and highs can sometime suffer as a result of the strong base but overall, for the price, i think denon have done a good job here. Headphones have a robust construction and come with a great quality pouch i would usually associate with more expensive earphones.
Love these headphones – i use them at the gym because they block out the music blasting out from their own speakers.

“Good fit, deep bass, easy to use.
, Very Good for the Money
, Very good workout earphone
The headphones are light, comfortable and sound great. They link to my iphone 6 so easily and a battery status appears next to the bluetooth symbol. They last ages between charges. The problem is my iphone battery appears to deplete quickly. If i listen to an album, i seem to lose about 15% battery life. That’s totally unscientific and could be other factors. The left side push button actives siri and receives / ends calls. I can hear callers perfectly but they have complained they can’t hear me well. The right side button is play / pause / on / off. Sadly the volume controls are internal volume and do nothing to the iphone’s volume.
Arrived in good condition and on time. It was easy to set up and connect to my iphone. Works well with good sound quality.
Great sound quality very comfortable to wear.
Amazing product, second time in 7 years i bought the same model for my son.
Lengthy review this but hopefully useful. A good few years ago i bought some sennheiser ear-buds for use in the gym and found them to be excellent – good deep bass, crisp response and fitted well. Unfortunately even though they lasted for many years one of the buds stopped working but without hesitation i bought another pair. Unfortunately the newer version were not quite as good, the bass wasn’t as deep and the fit wasn’t as good with any of the ‘covers’ that came with them and i was constantly having to push and adjust them to try to get them to stay put and to give a decent sound. On comparing the old and new i discovered this was because the newer version didn’t sit as deep into my ear canal as the older version – the actual bud didn’t protrude as far from the main body. Cue the move to wireless earbuds to try to reduce the drag on the buds from the cable. I looked on the review sites and dismissed the beats2 immediately because it was owned by apple and they’re also over £100 which i couldn’t justify. Most reviews said they were loud and bass-y but a couple said the sound quality was bit dull, not as crisp as others, and being used to the quality of the sennheisers that put me off almost as much as them being apple. Reading a couple of top10 reviews the jabra models etc came out well but when comparing the actual audio response spec’s etc the denon’s came out better but they didn’t have all the ‘sports’ related gizmo’s the others had which lost them points in the reviews. I’m not bothered about my earphones knowing how unfit i am and denon is a brand i know well from home hifi so i opted for these and i’m really pleased i did.
I have upgraded from a previous pair and wad apprehensive about the price. . But they are amazing and have good volume and great bass as i would expect from denon.
Best product i have bought on here. Such good quality, only thing is the sound can distort sometimes if in your pocket.
Bt performance is acceptable, easily gets 5m range, quick to pair. But they are just really uncomfortable to wear, the large part that goes behind the ear digs in so much that i have to take them off after a few minutes, it completely distracts from what ever else you are doing. They also do not fit inside the ears very well, usually i have no problems with earbuds, but these ones just don’t stay in. Sound quality’they have far too much bass, if you are listening to podcasts or spoken word books when working out, then bass is overwhelming. These are really only suited for music and where you like a lot of bass.
Only arrived today but my short term review at 45 quid for the yellow is to buy them as the build, sound quality and reception is amazing for that price. I’ll update my review of things go wrong but believe these best wireless option under 50 or 100 quid.
Bought these after much consideration and am very glad i did. I wanted them purely for use when running or in the gym as i was sick of trying to wear normal ones with wires down my sleeve etc. I am using these with an iphone 4s and they are excellent. I have never lost the signal although i tend to have my phone on my arm so i wouldn’t expect any connectivity issues. The battery life is very good and the controls on the earphones are easy to use. Sound quality excellent too and they look cool and feel sturdy. As i say connectivity is very good so buy thesei do not use them for handsfree talking so can’t offer any review of that feature.
Great quality and excellent value for money.
Poor reception if you have your phone in your trouser pockets on the left hand side. It’s ok on the right hand side. Unless it’s winter and you’re wearing ear warmers. They also don’t stay in the ear for long, and constantly have to be pushed back in.
Not so good through brick walls but i can still get up in the middle of the night and go for a pee, and the sound never even breaks up. Could think of the larger mans ear length, but i suppose ya can’t have everything. Maybe add a bass button as i need it deep inside me. When i get that real deep penatration felling.
The ear pieces are a bit chunky behind the ear and they aren’t best looking perhaps of the options, but they fit well and sound fine to me for use in the gym. Compared to competitors they were well good value at a discounted price.
Okay fit for running, loud enough. There is a faint background hiss and the audio can have small skips because the bluetooth reception is weak. Not sure how this compares to others but it has a high price tag, especially considering the age of this design (4 years).
I bought these headphones over 2 years ago. And what an investment they’ve been. Have used them so much and they’re still going strong.
Easy to set up and good sound they stay in my ears comfortable would recommend.
You might think that i’m some sort of mad fitness freak who wants to listen to some thumping beats while he runs, cycles and lugs weights. In fact, i bought these to listen to when i’m pottering in my garage, garden and greenhouse. Wires always end up getting snagged in something and it’s annoying to have to carry a box with speakers around. They are quite heavy, but comfortable even when worn for several hours at a time. The audio quality is not mind-blowingly great, but it is good. At least, good enough for me: i’m not a high audiophile. It’s worth some trial and error with the different sizes of ear buds (supplied) and the (adjustable) angles of the ear-pieces. When i managed to get these things set up correctly it made a vast difference to the volume and clarity of the sound. For the money, i don’t think that i could have done any better. I think one would expect better quality sound with a larger, over-the-ears, traditional can design.
Battery lasts a good few hours. Great for the gym (it’s better to go wireless, especially when you’re doing cardio).
I have tried a couple of of bluetooth earphones, the sound output in most are always compromised, with this denon , the sound quality is very good, the bass and the treble are superb, clarity in sound ,. It’s really worth it: will recommend it to anyone.
And that’s what i am looking for in a pair of gym earphone. Connecting to my iphone has no problems, and the connection is good. I have no problems listen to my music and leave my phone 2,3 metres away from me. But i tried to test the range, i would say the sound starts to crack beyond 7,8 metres. So, i wouldn’t say the range is excellent, but it is good enough for normal workout. Another thing i want to point out is, this is not a audiophile earphone or even at the similar level. This is a very bassy earphone with ok mid and high. For me, it is not a problem because if i want more clear, clean, and balanced sound, i can use my other wired earphones and my audio player. For workout, i just need some hip-hop music to motivate me, so this earphone serves very well.
