Good audio and quality but i expected more for the price. A headphone purchase at this price, you would expect to be wowed.
The sound quality is great on these headphones but i found the noise cancelling to be very poor. Minimal noise was cancelled, i could usually still hear people talking while listening to music. And after wearing them for about 30-45 minutes they will start to hurt and be uncomfortable. If i’m honest, there are better headphones out there for the same price as these.
Comfortable headphones and but noise cancelling limited to quieter environments. If you attempt to take them outside, near any public space or where there is heightened background noise, the noise cancelling does little to help and can actually become distracting. It’s a shame as these are very well built and comfortable. I had bought these as a second pair to take to the gym and for walks outdoors but sadly they came up well short when compared to my bose qc35. If you are looking to listen with these indoors in quieter environments they will be fine, but if you want to do more with them i would suggest looking at other models out there.

“Surprisingly good!, Solid as a rock, cos I came from a rock, Comfortable but very limited noise cancelling”
My last pair of a beats solo hd wireless were a present for my 15th, 4 years ago. The plastic was so worn it snapped a few days ago. Worth mentioning both cups still work and it still works wirelessly, just looks a bit ghetto with all my repairs. Had to upgrade and chose beats again based on my experience. Hope these last like my old pair, but they look and sound great.
I never had any good pricey headphones but for me those ones are like magic. But the auto turn off feature when they not in use and battery just drain dead should be included.
These were my very first headphones from beats and after testing them a numerous amount of times i was impressed. The sound quality was perfect. The unboxing experience was also amazing.
There is a cap missing off the left earphone.
Couldn’t wear these for long before they hurt my ears. Tried b&o and they are a lot more comfortable with no pain after long use. These do have great sound and look fantastic, just not right for me.
Only had it for a few days so resilience is something i can’t comment on although having owned beats headphones on few occasions previously, they almost always end up breaking in some way but to be fair, i have an extensive user, i use headphones literally every single day including to work out but i digress, so far, these headphones are excellent, the quality of sound is fantastic as usual, they look sleek and sexy and they are very comfortable on the ear even after hours of constant use.
Simply the best headphones i have ever purchased. The quality of sound is next to none. I use these virtually every day and for travelling, the hard case included is perfect for this especially. They lived up to my expectations and exceeded them. If you are thinking whether to go for the wired or the wireless versions definitely choose the wireless. They are a lot less restrictive and the length of the you can use while wireless is more than enough. Also a note on the charge time from dead to full charge very fast.
Great sound quality, durability and looks, the only thing that could be better would be the battery life as it lasts about 4-5 hours of playback before a recharge. Very expensive compared to other headphones in its class.
These earphones are great, for about the first 30-60 mins of use. After this time they begin to really hurt my ears, and they feel quite heavy on the head. I’m sure there are better options out there until apple release their own.
Sound is good, controls are easy to work, they look good, what’s not to like. The carry case is really poor, cheap and nasty are the words hat spring to mind. Being ancient i do miss a set of good instructions but that’s progress.
First of all beats should come in black box, not white. Second of all, in extras should be 2 aux cables and 1 charging, but there’s only one aux, charging and carabine. There is annoying noise when listening thru bluetooth, i don’t think it should be like that. And one ear cushion was a bit bended, but over all sound quality for 150£ is really good, bass is pretty hard but soft and smooth, so these 2 things kinda compensates cons.
These headphones in true beats style are excellent. Battery power is amazing and i have never actually have them run out on me. They work on flights even if i am not listening to music, the noise cancelling is excellent.
I wasn’t too impressed with this product, especially considering all of the hype about it. In terms of sound quality, you’re just as well off with the standard earphones you get with your iphone (plus a bit of base). It muffles the noise in your surroundings a bit, but don’t expect miracles.
He has them over a month and raves about them – the comfort, sound and look.
Bought for my 15 year old daughter, so this review is mainly based upon her thoughts. I should say up front that i had pretty low expectations for these headphones, thinking that they’re more a fashion brand, rather than a half decent bit of tech, but you know what kids are like when it comes to the ‘cool’ brands. Happy to admit that i was wrong. Whilst they won’t compete against a decent pair of audiophile headphones, that’s not their purpose. They offer surprisingly well balanced sound, and the noise cancellation is excellent (not as good as my newly purchased bose qc35’s, but bose pretty much own the noise cancelling market). They seem very well put together, and the packaging is superb (due mainly, i suspect, to the take-over of beats by apple). The supplied hard case is a welcome addition, and several good quality leads and plugs are included within the box. First thing we did is charge them up, via my mac, registered them, and updated the firmware via the beats website. They charged quickly – from the supplied 30% to 100% in about 30 minutes, via the standard micro-usb socket in the ear piece. They paired effortlessly with her iphone 6 & ipad, and have a useful ‘fuel gauge’ set of lights on the ear to designate power charge.
Happy with purchase these are smaller than the first beats studio, but these i like better wish it came with a cleaning cloth.
I was a bit sceptical about buying these at first as i worried they wouldn’t be genuine or i would have wasted my money on something that breaks within weeks. I bought these in september and they are still (touch wood) in perfect condition usage wise and i use them every single day. They have a few tiny scratches from wear and tear being in my bag all day etc but the sound that comes from them is so good.
Brilliant buy, quick delivery, very satisfied. Bought for a gift as i already have one. This later model than mine is great.
I took 3 months to decide on an upgrade to my beats solo wireless, which gave me 3. Seeing as i use my headphones for gym (up to 5 times per week), i needed form and function from a wireless headphones. Initially, i chose the parrot zik 3 – given all it’s great features and build quality.Sadly, they looked terrible when i tried them on. There was no way i was wearing them to gym (ever)been using the beats studios for a week now and i’m well impressed. Build quality has definitely improved, sound quality is great and the active noise cancelling feature is impressive.
Genuine product, syncs really easy, delivered on time.
