At first i was considering bw sennheiser momentum wireless and sony mdr 1000. But i end up getting this beoplay h7 after i saw it’s stylish looks. This headphone is great, sounds very balances, the mid and high are clear, bright, very fits my taste. The reason i gave this 4 stars because when i used wired the sounds on my iphone the sounds was horrible, i didn’t know why cause when i used wired with my laptop it sounded great. Also the sounds quite leaking when i increased volumes to 50% and at this price range this didn’t even come with a case (quite disappointed). Otherwise very pleased with my purchased.
Very good headphones, but after a couple of hours they can get a bit sticky around the ears.
I was in the market for a bonus payment treat. It was headphones or a go pro. I’m not exactly action man, so much as i like the idea of a go pro, and because i already use headphones a lot whilst working (and my old bose ae2’s are wearing out), i opted for new cans. Having decided which way to jump, i spent an enjoyable hour or so in john lewis in bluewater trying out various sets. I’d read a lot of really good things about the b&o h7’s and h6’s and i was keen to try them. I managed to find examples of both models in jlp and with a great sense of anticipation i plugged the h6’s into my iphone. Perhaps it was that particular set of cans, but they were rubbish. I then tried the sennheiser momentum’s (wired) which were very impressive actually, some b&w’s which were pricy and very tight on my head, but i really wanted to go wireless. Bought it on amazon sale for a good price, although the purchase was more of an impulse treat myself luxury than necessity for me. Most stylish, sounds good, very comfortable and connects to mac pro and iphone without any issues. The touch controls take some getting use to, and sometimes accidently triggers when removing the headphone.
Lovely build quality and great sound. The ear pads are so soft and the range that they deliver is great almost like a pair of open headphones but with a nice base response. The sound stage is great you could get a modmic and use them for gaming.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Superb listening pleasure.
- To get an actual stereo that sounds as good, I’d need to sell my house!
- Sounds ace, crap touch controls and a hard headband.
. I can’t start this review without a disclaimer: i still remember exactly when and where i saw and experienced audio from b&o components. It was almost 40 years ago, they did not belong to me, and i have coveted b&o form and function ever since then. Like a few other material things, an actual b&o purchase has always fell in the ‘when i win the lottery’ domain. So, when the opportunity to review these arrived, i accepted with both high expectations and full fanboy mode. I’m happy to say that when it comes to headphone sound, these do not disappoint. Even with a proven inability to differentiate cd (or other non-lossy) audio from. Mp3 sources, i have a natural bias against the compression of. Mp3 that increases with the additive of bluetooth technology. These headphones cured me of this bias. I tested them at length with several pieces of music i thought i was already thoroughly familiar with.
Perfect sound and perfect look. Was dramatically reduced on amazon day.
B&o as always a great experience.
Brilliant bit of kit >not as loud as id like buy i digress. Had them on nearly a week and the battery hasn’t died yet. The only letdown i have is the fabric on the inner head loop easily gets dirty even on clean hair. All in all a very good product.
Great looking and most importantly great sounding headphones with a lovely balanced sound in all the ranges. I wasn’t in the market for a set of bluetooth headphones either as i didn’t feel the need but boy does it make a difference with no wires hanging around when you are going about your daily tasks. I don’t really notice the difference in sound quality over bluetooth either so more than happy with my purchase.
Amazing piece of kit for audiophiles. The motion volume control is really cool.
I bought these after abandoning some awful beats studio 2. 0 which i had bought for £10 less than the b&o headphones. The h7s are really a high quality item made from premium materials and they are very well designed, being so comfortable to wear that they can be worn for hours and you will not feel them on your head. I love the neutral sound which i can colour to suit my own preferences. I listen to a full range of music and the h7s coped admirably with it all. I highly recommend this item, which is the first b&o product which i have ever owned.
By far the best headphones i’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. The sound quality of these is absolutely fantastic. Even after over a year they still work just as well as they did when i first too them out the box. So comfy and the battery life is great considering the quality of sound and bass they are kicking outwould definitely recommend these to anyone that’s a big lover of music.
These are truly excellent headphones from the design to the ease of operation and ultimately the sound quality. I have to say i have been taken aback by the b&o h7’s. 1st of all the sound in a word superb, 2nd the design stunning, 3rd build quality is top notch, 4th they are super comfortable. The sound quality is really superb the clarity and detail on offer is truly amazing with a very broad midrange that presents vocals with extreme clarity, there is no strain or graininess. If you love vocals you will love the h7’s. An articulate treble that is not exaggerated but pin sharp. The bass is tight and punchy with enough extension to offer the right amount of kick to the music from house and dance to latin, pop and rock. When deep bass is required they the oblige with aplomb, if you like tight bass again you will love these. They give very good separation of instruments and soaring vocals that make you want to listen for hours. I have enjoyed the listening experience so far.
I had high expectations and the h7’s exceeded them.
After having them for over two weeks i can say they kinda grew on me. Was using only earphones before so being my first set of headphones can say they sound good but not exceptional( not yet maybe after the burn in). In the build quality were they exceed to be honest, they feel very premium and the good thing is that i can wear them for a few hours without any discomfort. So the final thought if you have some extra cash to splash go for it but be ready to be more amazed by the build quality then the sound it self i’d say.
Love the sound and battery life. Hate the headphone band it’s hard and hurts after an hour or so. The touch controls are a joke, the skip function just doesn’t work 9 out of 10 times, even if i take them off and try, it’s completely random chance. The pause and volume does work buts really jerky and should be a smooth operation. For your next pair just give us some buttonsfor the price i really expected an ace experience and it’s awful. All in all wonderful sound let down by a poor touch control and headphone band, there are more comfortable products out and about for the price but the sound is fantastic.
I am reviewing this product 3 years after i bought. I can’t fault this product. It sound, comfort, battery life are all outstanding. It’s still going strong after 3 years.
Studied lots of amazon reviews on phones & eventually bought these. Totally blown away with comfort, controls, sound5 star all round.
