Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H4 Wireless Headphones -, Fantastic sound and nice fit.

Brilliant sound quality, listen to an album you’ve listened to many times before and i’m sure you’ll hear so many noises / instruments that you’ve never noticed before. Amazing value on the black friday deal.

Detailed stunning sound, comfortable to wear and visually appealing.

Only issue is that they are not collapsable. However compared to the beats solo 3, much better fit around the ear.

Comments from buyers

“Love them but one qualm
, Premium audio and quality at a good price
, comfort is 100% better than with Bose earphones ( was a Bose fan

Looks – world classfeel – world classcomfort – world classonly gripe is they’re pretty lame in terms of noise cancellation. This works both ways – so if someone sits next to you and you have your music on mid level volume they can hear it pretty clearly.

Quite good for a discontinued line. It keeps deliver at the standard of newer and more expensive one. Microphone ok although not perfect.

These were bought for my husband for christmas. He wears headphones every day, as he watches films and you tube videos, and i watch tv. This way we can both enjoy what we are watching. The only problem i have with them is that if i forget he’s got them on, and shout him from the kitchen to come get his dinner, he can’t hear me.

So far so good and the beoplay app makes all the difference. Headphones are nicely made and give me a sound quality i haven’t heard in years (hate digital music, give me a good vinyl any day) these headphones give a nicely rounded sound. No more just bass and tinny treble. These headphones return some of the mid range to my digital audio. After a little playing around with the app you can achieve a respectable audio playback. By no means the perfect headphones but at this price they’re as close as you’re going to get in my opinion. I would have no problem recommending any one to give them a try. I am very pleased with my purchase. They are not noise cancelling headphones so expect to hear your surroundings in noisy environments. Only one thing disappointed me and that is the beoplay app does not work when the headphones are used on a wired connection.

I bought beo h4 following a number of very positive reviews (i couldn’t try them before buying) and i’m a bit disappointed – the sound quality is far below expectations and it doesn’t matter if i use bt or a cable connection. The scene is narrow, bass is deep but rumble, there’s lack of treble. The sound is dark with lack of details. I expected a bit more for this price. I enjoy the wireless, mobility and long battery life – ideal combination when i’m on the move. But when it comes to the good sound quality i still prefer my old, cable akg 550 which cost a half price of beo h4.

These are great but not amazing. Great sound, great functions, easy to set up and use, beautifully designed and of excellent quality materially. Not the bassiest like beats but definitely a more refined sound than those. I find the bass on the beats a bit tiresome after a few tracks. I get bass lethargythese have great bass but it’s smoother, less pounding, and it doesn’t drown out the other musical details. I’m knocking a point off for the lack of their own charger plug and the tiny length of the charging wire. I mean, nobody wants a short length.

I bought these to replace my in the ear headphones as they were causing me some problems. The h4’s are brilliant, they are really comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. An added bonus was taking advantage of the black friday deal, however even at full price they are still excellent value for the money.

My daughter loved these, especially as there is a free app that allows some equaliser functions to be used. Work great with nice sound (she said better than her old bose units).

Delighted with these , first time i,ve splashed the cash on headphones and i can tell the difference between these and others i,ve had, plus they pair really easily to my phone.

Amazing, had for a while now and no problems, battery life is amazing. Arrived quickly and have great sound quality which you can change using the app.

She says the sound quality is brilliant, and they are very comfortable. She is very happy with them.

Comfort is 100% better than with bose earphones ( was a bose fan for about 8 years but now have chucked my companions for these)also very stylish. Response time isn’t super fast when changing songs over the bluetooth buttons on the headphones, however i suspect its like that with all wireless headphones.

Real leather and great craftsmanship, super comfortable to wear. I have noise cancelling wired bose for aeroplane travel, these b&o are not nc headphones, so know what you are buyingtop features:listening over bt works flawlesslybattery charge lasts an age (probably 50h at a guess)voice call capabilities are great, with crystal clear receptiongreat materials, you can feel where your money has gone and comfortablesolid, they don’t fold – which i view as a positivedownsidepairing was not at all well documented, and yet was so easy when i finally figured it out.

Comfortable to wear no problems with pairing very good sound quality. Controls took a little time to get used too but pleased so far with product.

Great sound, comfy and the battery lasts for ages. I wear mine while working (9-5 weekdays) and rarely have to charge them-once a month, if that. Not to mention they’re stunning.I’m not a music expert to comment on the sound quality, but it sounds good to me, and there’s an app so you can alter the bass settings etc.

Even though it is extremely expensive, i would say that it is worth it. The sound is quite amazing, the passive noise cancellation is really good which is to be expected for a over-ear pair of headphones. The battery life is something that i didn’t think would be this good. During the week, i would use the headphones for a few hours every day and it would still get me through the weekend. It charges quickly and i would advise anyone that has this item not to overcharge (just like with any other battery). All in all, great quality, great sound, great noise cancellation and amazing battery life.

Looks and feels comparable to similar premium products on the market, good sound quality as expected, warm and balanced. Easy to pair with device each time once initial set-up done. Of note it is still comfortable to wear over glasses for long periods, which cannot be said of some other brands.

I still have my soundmagic e10 earbuds which have lasted me a good number of years and being wired and offering a fantastic sound, especially for the price, i was hesitant to go wireless. I did a lot of research and eventually stumbled on the h4s on offer for £135 at amazon. I wouldn’t pay the full price for these as i find it hard to justify paying £250 for something like this. The audio quality is fantastic and well-balanced but as such may not suit bass nuts although this may be addressed by using the b&o app which allows some degree of tuning. The quality is as you’d expect from b&o, with leather ear pads which cosset you even after many hours of listening and a headband which you don’t notice is there. The one omission is a case, although if space isn’t tight, you could use the box with its felt insert. You’d then be able to keep the potentially scratchy 3. 5mm audio cable and micro usb charging cable away from your headset in the space below, as per their shipped state. Battery life is great and the 55% charge state they shipped with didn’t change after a few hours of listening. Time will tell how accurate this is.

No gimmickssound as it’s meant to beif a song has bass you will hear it but if it doesn’t then you won’t. You will hear what you are supposed to hearsimples.

I bought these and managed to charge them fine the first time, but since then the headphones don’t recognise the charger cable, no matter which plug socket or usb plug i use. They still work fine with the audio cable but that kind of defeats the point of having wireless headphones, so i’m returning them for a refund.
